Mobile Accessories Executive to Lead and Advance Growth Strategy for Safety Tech Company
DENVER - June 15, 2017 - Revolar announced today the appointment of Brian Thomas as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Co-founders Jacqueline Ros and Andrea Perdomo will remain on the executive team with Perdomo as Chief Marketing Officer and Ros in the newly created role of Chief Community Officer. The appointment and transitions are part of a planned leadership transition to advance Revolar’s strategy of becoming a leading global provider of safety and communication technology.
“Our growth over the past two years has been exciting, rewarding, and an amazing learning experience,” said Revolar co-founder Jacqueline Ros. “Our progress has accelerated dramatically since launching Revolar Instinct, and now is our chance to scale the positive impact we can have on people’s lives. Knowing how well Brian’s values and expertise align with our vision for Revolar, we realized he’s the perfect person to lead the company into this new stage.”
Thomas joins Revolar at a pivotal moment as the company launches a new product and begins distribution with Target, T-Mobile, and Best Buy. Thomas most recently served as CEO of OtterBox, where he successfully led the company growth from $2 million in annual sales to more than 1$ billion in revenue — earning Thomas recognition as CEO Connection’s Mid-market CEO of the Year in 2014 as well as a Top 100 CEO’s in America Award from Chief Executive Magazine.
During his tenure, OtterBox was on Inc’s fastest growing companies seven years in a row. This type of growth helped create jobs and spur economic activity in Fort Collins and Northern Colorado, something that aligns with Thomas’s personal goals.
"I am excited to join the energetic Revolar team. The combination of the opportunity for growth, the size of the market we address, and the high purpose-driven mission of the company all created the perfect match for the kind of opportunity I want to be involved with and help accelerate growing," said Brian Thomas.
